As bad-ass as it gets! – Casting by Mr. Frapu & Miss Mocca

J’adore the villain. We need bad guys to make the good guys looks good! Good guy, give the big applause and thank the evil! Sometimes the bad guys play it super damn-good and outshined Mr. nice guy. They’re like the washabi, the “sambel terasi ulek super pedas” on Rumah Makan Laksana…you know they’re no good for your stomach but you just gotta have them!
The charm of the bad ... the sweet sin they offer ... the rebel flair they act ... mesmerizes the innocent angel tho ... Once in your life time ... it’s fantastic to be bad.
Our list here is a tribute to the bad... Kick it guys ...!

1. Joker – The Dark Knight
He’s beyooond.. bad! But this sicko dark complex character teach us one of the greatest life lesson; “why so seriuos? Let’s put a smile on that face!”




2. Anne Boleyn – The Tudors
You think Prince Charles-Camilla Parker-Bowles’s love affair scandalous? N to the O! Go back to the beginning, meet Lady Anne Boleyn who rocked King Henry VIII’s world. The king divorced his legitimate wife & queen, against the Pope’s will and converted to Lutheran because of her. I bow to thee, Lady Anne. Oh, I know Natalie Portman played Anne Boleyn on the big screen, but I love Natalie Dormer’s performance better on the small screen.


3. Simon Cowell – American Idol
The fact that he’s a real life character making him more bad-ass! This obnoxious judge we love to hate is the one who told the truth. The brutal truth we wish we could say but couldn’t. We completely utterly thank you Mr. Cowell.




4. Hans Landa – Inglorious Basterds
I almost vomit watching Brad Pitt and his basterds scalping the Nazis. But comes Kolonel Hans Landa…his uber cool-crazy-cruel blood-thirsty character stunned me. I almost forget he only the supporting role cause’ he owned every scene even when he shared it with Mr. Pitt. Mazel tov!



5. Stansfield - Leon The Professional
Gary Oldman always disturbs me. Especially this particular persona, a corrupt FBI agent taking a moment of silence before slaying the whole family. The close-up of his expression still giving me chill.






6. The Devil - Bedazzled
Would you dare to exchange your soul if the temptress is as hot and amusingly hilarious like Liz Hurley?






7. Franchise Villain
Alien, Predator, Jason, Freddie Kruger. Leather Face, Killer robot in Terminator, Michael ... You really are the cash cow of the studios ... without your no mercy act and slasher attitude ... we can hardly watch the original, remake, prequel, sequel and everything in between.


8. Disney Villain
There’s a single iconic element that I adore mostly in Disney villain. “A strong determination”. Ursula, Cruela de Vil, Evil Queen, Cinderella Stepmom, Sleeping Beauty Devilish Angel, ... you are all both the femme fatale and of course the women of substance!


9. Annie Wilkes - Misery
Nerdy Kathy as the soft spoken, well-mannered Annie Wilkes brings the chill, terror and fear if her escapism stuff has not been fulfilled. If you are stranded in a very thick snow, just pray your saviour is not someone like her.




10. Darth Vader
Devil was a fallen angel .. it’s clearly portrayed by this fella. Beware if your objective in life is ultimate power ... perhaps you could follow his path.
